WEEKLY LESSONS
Classes are banded according to Higher Level (HL) and Standard Level (SL), and
examination sessions tor Mav and November. We do NOT mix HL and SL students in the
same group as the content topics are not the same and examination format different.
CUSTOMISED TOPICAL REVISION CLASSES
Students who have limited time tor weekly lessons may do short-term course with us. Tell us the topics/concepts you need guidance in, and our teacher will develop
materials that caters specitically to your learning needs to improve your content
mastery and answering techniques. Topical revision classes are conducted throughout the year. Course duration depends on topics/concepts as per requested by students. A mock examination will be conducted at the end to check student progress and
pertormance. For more details. please reter to the section on Mock Examinations.
3-DAY INTENSIVE REVISION CLASSES
Started in 2013. the 3-dav intensive revision is a signature programm designed for our students, and conducted a few weeks before the IBDP ayams This programme provides an opportunity for focused practice on kev/common concepts tested in exams, under exam stipulated time.
Our IB Economics examiner-tutor is updated on changes in the IB Economics syllabus and is appointed to mark exam scripts tor Mav/Nov exam sessions. Ihis experience provides our students with useful exam techniques and structured approach to writing response to address specitic demands of the questions. Essential skillsets are
reinforced during the revision lessons. Class assignments are graded and feedback is provided.
MOCK EXAMINATIONS
Learningminds Education conducts mock exams for IBDP 1 and IBDP 2 classes since the teacher started tutoring in 2012. Mock examinations are fullv designed to mirror examination conditions based on IBDP guidelines. They provide the opportunity tor our students to experience examination arrangements ahead or time, to gain contidence in exam preparation
Examination scripts are marked by our teacher and paper review sessions are conducted. I hese sessions are designed to target areas or weakness so students walk into the exam teeling contident and well prepared
Track your scores and evaluate performance after each test that you take. Discuss with our teachers on the areas that need improvements. Work on the weak areas as you Identify them alter each test and ensure that these mistakes are not repeated. It you are doing better than your peers in the mock exams, continue working at the same pace towards the IB exams. However, if you are lagging behind, make efforts to improve scoring by working on weak areas.
