HL/SL Economics

Our courses are crafted and conducted by highly experienced IB Economics  examiner who is familiar with the IB syllabus and examination format. Course materials are closely aligned to the syllabus, and skills-based lessons are  delivered  in a structured manner to optimise learning needs of our students.

We offer both in-person classes and online classes to cater to different learning needs of students. Content and delivery of lessons are the same. Online lessons are conducted LIVE to ensure interactions between teacher and students, for students to ask questions or clarify their doubts immediately and  for teacher to ensure student learning is taking place throughout the lesson. Lessons are not pre-recorded. 

Please indicate your preference for either in-person lesson or online lesson upon registration. 

Classes are conducted in small groups (up to a maximum of 6 students per group). Our students get personal attention as our tutor constantly engage them during class. 

Students are also exposed to global economic affairs. Lively discussions in class have benefitted our students. They are more confident in applying and integrating real life examples in their essays.

Extended Essays (EE) and Internal Assessments (IA) are core elements of the IBDP and are mandatory for all students. 

Our tutor is trained in these areas as per IB syllabus. Our students are taught the techniques to address the specific requirements of Extended Essays and Internal Assessments, and to avoid common weakness when writing their responses.  

A step-by-step guidance is provided for students to acquire and apply the relevant research skillsets and answering techniques to fulfil requirements of assessment criteria for top marks.
